The highly efficient insulating effect of our products is based on a microporous fumed silica. When this is compressed, a microporous cell structure is formed. Contact between individual particles occurs at only a few points.

WDS® Lambdaflex® and WDS® Flexipor®  

WDS® Lambdaflex® and WDS® Flexipor® are flexible panels.  These versions combine self-supporting stability with insulation material.  For this purpose, the material is sealed inside a sheathing film.  The film protects the insulation material from moisture while at the same time providing the necessary flexibility.  The foil completely disintegrates under the influence of high temperatures.  Various WDS®-types with different compound film systems are available.  Application temperature limits up to 1100ºC can be reached with it.
